"You weren’t just a Hero to me, but a Hero to all."
The fiancée of Massachusetts State Trooper Kevin Trainor, who died in the line of duty responding to a wrong-way driver call on Route 1 in Lynnfield, has shared a heartfelt tribute.
Jessica Ostrowski posted a message on Instagram, accompanied by photos of Trainor, whom she called her “everything” and “best friend.”
“You healed many parts of me I never thought would ever be healed,” she wrote. “I am beyond proud for the amount of love you have been given by those who loved and cared about you.”
Trainor, a field training officer, had served as a state trooper for three years. He responded to the fatal crash call just one minute after his shift was scheduled to end.

“You weren’t just a Hero to me, but a Hero to all,” Ostrowski wrote. “I was always both impressed and scared by the amount of courage you showed both on and off the job.”
Along with Ostrowski, Trainor leaves behind his mother, three brothers, and one sister.
“I would always tell you how impressed I am with how amazing you were at you job, and how this profession was meant for you baby,” Ostrowski wrote. “Gone but never forgotten until we meet again my love.”
