I've covered Prime Day for over half a decade at this point, and there are some things that rinse and repeat year after year. And as sure as the sun rises in the sky, you can count on Amazon Prime Day to discount specific items. When you see Kindles drop to record-low prices, for instance, you know the annual sale is upon us.

Although Amazon surprised us with an earlier-than-usual Prime Day celebration in 2026, the deals are still equally impressive (I've bought an alarming number of things this year) as years past. And lord knows we needed some heavy discounts after a year of price hikes.

We're tracking all of the latest Prime Day deals live, of course. And trust and believe there are some gems. Below, I've rounded up some of the products we count on year after year to go on sale for Prime day. It's always nice to see some familiar faces.

AirPods Pro

Like clockwork, Amazon uses Prime Day as an excuse to drop the AirPods Pro down to a new record-low price every year. And 2026 is no exception, with the latest AirPods Pro 3 dropping to just $169 from $249. That beats their former best price by $10. The price has since bumped back up to $179, but that's still pretty sweet.

Prime Day is always a good time to invest in Bluetooth trackers — AirTags, especially. A four-pack of the new second-generation AirTags dropped to their best-ever price of $89 this Prime Day. It's not much, but it's their first-ever discount.

Coleman camping tents

Coleman never fails to mark down its four-person tents to less than $100 during Amazon sales. Prime Day 2026 is no exception, and we certainly aren't complaining.

LifeStraw emergency water filters

Outdoorsy deals in general are plentiful on Prime Day, but one that never fails to pop up is a major discount on LifeStraw. You can get the original personal water filter for just under $10 or pay a little more for the Peak series.

Markdowns on Amazon's own products are a given during any Amazon sale, but Kindles specifically get some of their biggest discounts of the year on Prime Day. We recommend snagging the Paperwhite Signature Edition this year for a record low.

Air fryers

Air fryers are still quietly as popular as ever, and Prime Day always sees stellar discounts on top models. My personal favorite, the Our Place Wonder Oven, dropped to only $110 — its best price ever — from $185 on day one of this year's sale.

Echo speakers

As I noted above, Amazon's own devices always see the biggest discounts on Prime Day. Echo smart speakers, for instance, are down to as low as $23.99 this year. Not to mention, the new Echo Dot Max is the cheapest it's ever been at $64.99.

Theragun massage guns

The massage gun hype isn't as major as it used to be, but these devices are still beloved by athletes of all kinds. And they're still classic Prime Day deals.

Lego sets of all shapes and sizes

You can find tons of Lego sets on sale this time of year, as always. Some of our favorites are the badass Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer and the classic Lego Brick Box.

Cheap Sony headphones

Sony uses Prime Day every year as an excuse to drop some of the best headphone deals. Not only are the WH-1000XM6s down to a new best-ever price, but the basic WH-CH520s are as well (just $29.99!). Sony has range, and it's more obvious than ever on Prime Day.

Anker chargers

It's not Prime Day unless Anker marks down its entire product line. Its charging accessories, in particular, see some massive discounts on the Amazon shopping holiday. If you're in need of a power bank for travel this summer, now's the time to grab one.

Cheap Fire TVs

TVs are one of the only things that haven't gotten progressively more expensive over the last few years. In fact, it's quite the opposite — especially when Prime Day rolls around. This year, you can pick up a 40-inch Fire TV from Insignia for under $100.

Fire TV Sticks

Amazon basically gives away its Fire TV Sticks during major sales, and the Prime Day 2026 deal of choice is a $9.99 4K Select. At $30 or 75% off, it's easily the best streaming stick deal.

Free Amazon subscriptions

If you like freebies, Prime Day is always a great time to snag an extended free trial to digital services from Amazon, like Kindle Unlimited, Audible, or Amazon Music Unlimited. These offers are generally reserved for those new to the service or returning after some time away.

Yeti coolers

Yeti is one of those luxury outdoor brands that rarely ever goes on sale. There are only a few times a year we see discounts, and Prime Day is always one of them. This year, find the brand's soft coolers and backpacks at rates up to 30% off.
