As the SAISO, Taylor is responsible for implementing federal cybersecurity mandates while strengthening compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. He leads the development, execution, and oversight of agencywide cybersecurity policies, procedures, and digital infrastructure modernization initiatives designed to enhance and improve NASA’s cybersecurity posture, operational resiliency, and mission continuity. His leadership is key to directly advancing the robustness, safety, and efficiency of our IT systems.

Taylor is federal cybersecurity executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, network operations, and enterprise risk management. He served as Acting CISO and Deputy CISO for the U.S. Department of Transportation, where he provided executive leadership for the Department’s Cybersecurity and Information Protection program across the Office of the Secretary and all operating administrations. He is also a veteran of the U. S.
