Married doctor's affair with glamorous younger woman expl...
2026-05-13 · via News | Mail Online

The plot is like something out of Fatal Attraction – a successful married man has an affair with a pretty, upwardly mobile younger woman who obsesses over him and decides to take drastic steps to lure him from his wife.

But instead of bunny boiling and a kidnapped child as in the Michael Douglas-Glenn Close movie classic, this one revolves around revenge porn claims and allegations that the mistress vowed to hand out flyers about his infidelity to all her older lover's acquaintances.

And rather than ending in a deadly bathtub climax, this version is headed to court in two separate cases: one civil and one criminal.

It all revolves around an affair that top New Jersey gastroenterologist Michel Kahaleh, 57, acknowledges he had with Eileen Ma, 29, in 2024 and 2025, revealed in court papers obtained by the Daily Mail.

In June last year, Kahaleh claimed, Ma, a software consultant, sent naked photographs she had allegedly taken secretly to his wife, Qian Li. Ma threatened to pass them to his two college-aged sons, he claimed in his civil suit.

She also pledged to 'send recordings to his family, and hand out flyers to everyone he knows,' he claimed.

But he continued the affair for three more months, both sides acknowledge. When he broke it off, Ma bombarded him with text messages, phone calls and voicemails, he alleged in the complaint.

When he begged the psychology graduate to leave him alone, she effectively warned him: 'I am never going to stop.'

Top New Jersey gastroenterologist Michel Kahaleh  is at the center of an explosive affair scandal after his mistress threatened to expose their relationship by allegedly sending explicit photos to his family

The physician admitted to having an affair with software consultant Eileen Ma, 29, in 2024 and 2025, in court papers obtained by the Daily Mail

Kahaleh, the chief of advanced and therapeutic endoscopy at Hackensack Meridian Health, is not named in the civil suit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, but his lawyers confirmed to the Daily Mail that he is the plaintiff and he is identified in the criminal case.

In an affidavit for the criminal case, NYPD officer Victoria Lynch said Kahaleh told her that in June last year he saw an email on his wife's phone that contained a 'photograph of himself exposing his penis.'

But the alleged femme fatale adamantly denied stalking, harassment or sending the X-rated snaps, and in an interview with the Daily Mail accused her ex of blowing the whole situation out of proportion.

Ma admitted that she took explicit photos of Kahaleh but insisted she did not send them to his wife.

She claimed to have no idea who sent the photos, but that a 'bunch of people' had access to her phone one night after she lost it when she was drunk.

Doubling down on her denials, Ma said she was at a tech conference in Paris in June and claimed she did not have the 'emotional availability' to have sent the snaps.

She denied what she called the 'cruel' claim that she threatened to send explicit images to her ex's kids, but admitted contacting his son and colleagues about the relationship and threatening to 'pass out flyers to everybody' in a bid to tell her story.

'It felt like, for the longest time, I couldn't advocate for myself, which is what pushed me to say the things that I did, that I'm going to tell everybody the truth.

Ma said she believed Kahaleh was single when the pair met on a dating app in May 2024

The 29-year-old was arrested on April 14 on charges of stalking, harassment and other offenses. She has pleaded not guilty

'It was not done to threaten him. It was because I was being suppressed.'

She accused Kahaleh of lying to her for a year about being married, breaking his promise to divorce his wife, and hiring expensive lawyers to 'silence' her when she tried to share her version of events.

Ma claimed she met Kahaleh on an online dating site in May 2024 and said she believed he was single.

She said he showered her with money, clothes, gifts, offered to buy her groceries and even furnished her Wall Street apartment.

Ma said she fell in love with the doctor and was 'shattered' when she discovered, around Valentine's Day last year, that he had a wife.

'I ended up being a mistress without realizing it for about a year,' she told the Daily Mail.

'I introduced him to my family. I thought he would be the one.

'It's not because of money. It was because of the way he treated me. He was so consistent, always there.'

She said she demanded Kahaleh leave his wife and move into her Wall Street apartment.

New York Supreme Court records show Kahaleh filed for divorce from Li in February 2025, but court records show it was discontinued on June 19 – four days after he told cops his wife got the naked photo.

Ma claimed Kahaleh made excuses over why he couldn't leave his wife, including that she had immigration interviews and wanted those wrapped up before any divorce.

In May, Ma said while she was in China, Li messaged her, revealing her husband had told her about his affair, but warning she was being 'played' as they were still together.

The married father of two (pictured with colleagues) claims he now suffers with crippling anxiety and fears losing his career due to Ma's alleged harassment campaign

'"He is still taking me out to dinners, watching movies with me and f***ing me" – that's like, literally her words,' Ma told the Daily Mail.

On her return from China, Ma said she confronted Kahaleh, asking him, 'How could you do this to me?

'You first cheated on your wife with me, and then you cheated on me with your wife?'

But she said her love for Kahaleh saw her relent and agree to be his mistress as they continued their relationship.

In the meantime, she claimed she received cease and desist letters from his lawyers demanding she delete any naked photos of him, which she said she did.

Ma claimed their relationship blew up at the end of September after Ma's family emailed Kahaleh's wife to tell her of her husband's infidelity and their unhappiness with his alleged treatment of their relative.

She admitted messaging his colleagues, leaving him 'drunken' voicemails and making a since-deleted LinkedIn post with her 'truth' about their relationship.

Last month, she said she arranged to meet Kahaleh at his lawyer's office, but when she arrived, he was not there and police hauled her off to jail.

Ma was arrested on April 14 on charges of stalking, unlawful disclosure of an intimate image, two counts of aggravated harassment and the unlawful dissemination or publication of an intimate image.

She was granted pre-trial release provided she does not contact Kahaleh and gives up any guns.

She could face up to a year in jail or a $1,000 fine if convicted on the aggravated harassment and unlawful disclosure and dissemination of intimate images charges.

She has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is due back in court on June 8.

Kahaleh, who lives in Manhattan, said in filings he now suffers with crippling anxiety and fears losing his career due to Ma's alleged harassment campaign.

'[Her] treatment of me has dealt a severe blow to my personal sense of dignity and my career as she has now reached out to member of my medical practice.

'As a result of this situation… I have experienced several instances of anxiety, fear of losing my career, chest pains, trouble concentrating, depression, loss of enjoyment of life, fatigue and exhaustion.'

His lawsuit seeks unspecified damages, punitive damages, legal fees and an injunction stopping Ma from alleged further dissemination of the X-rated images.

'Our client has been the victim of a serious violation of privacy and trust,' Kahaleh's lawyer Alan Sash told the Daily Mail. 'We take these matters extremely seriously and intend to pursue all available remedies to protect our client's rights.'

'This is now part of ongoing criminal and civil cases, so I can't speak about the details right now,' Kahaleh said in a statement.

'I trust that the matter will be handled through the legal process.'
