Idiot truck driver learns costly lesson after physically ...

A Wisconsin driver learned a costly lesson after he ignored warning signs and drove his truck into freshly poured concrete.

The unidentified driver was traveling through Milwaukee County, on Lake Michigan, when they came across a road closed barrier on May 12.

Instead of finding a detour, the driver 'physically removed' the barrier and 'proceeded to drive into freshly poured concrete,' the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) said.

'Crews place barricades and signs for your safety and theirs,' the organization wrote.

'Please, never remove or ignore "road closed" or any other types of barriers… or this might happen to you!'

The Nissan truck was seen stuck in the wet concrete nearly up to the top of its tires, a photo the Wisconsin DOT posted showed.

Crews were seen working to pull the car out of the concrete pit, including hooking it up to a tow truck to drag it out.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the Wisconsin DOT for comment.

A Wisconsin driver removed a closed road barrier and drove into wet concrete on May 12

Workers had to get a tow truck to pull the vehicle out of the hardening concrete

It is unclear if the driver will face any charges or fines for the damage.

Many commenters joked that this was 'concrete evidence' that 'should hold up in court.'

'I guess they had concrete evidence proving the perpetrator cemented themselves into a sticky situation,' one Facebook user wrote.

'Being stuck between a rock and an eventual hard place,' a second wrote.

'People like that are the reason there are instructions on shampoo bottles,' another wrote.

Earlier this year, across the country, a Rhode Island driver infuriated residents by riding around in a snow-covered truck in February.

After a historic blizzard dumped three feet of snow in the area, one driver failed to brush off their car, having only scraped a small section to see through their driver's side portion of the windshield.

A worker hooked up the tow truck to the vehicle before towing it out

The truck was successfully pulled out of the concrete

In Rhode Island, it is illegal to drive with any significant amount of snow or ice on the vehicle, and drivers are required by law to clear all snow and ice off the entire car, including the roof, hood, trunk and license plates.

The footage outraged residents, who criticized the driver for acting recklessly and endangering everyone's safety.
