An urgent manhunt is underway in Sydney's east after a man allegedly broke into and later crashed into several cars.
Officers were called to Davies Avenue in Vaucluse on Friday shortly after 1.30pm following reports of a break-and-enter.
Police were told a man had allegedly broken into a house but left before they arrived.
About 15 minutes later, officers were called to Serpentine Avenue in relation to reports of a crash.
Officers arrived and were told a car had crashed into several vehicles before the driver ran from the scene.
No injuries have been reported.
Officers, aided by PolAir and the dog unit, are currently searching the area.
