Tallia Storm's dad Sascha has died suddenly in Switzerland at the age of 57.

The heartbroken pop star, 27, addressed his sad death on her Instagram Story on Thursday - after her Real Housewives of Jersey mother Tessa Hartmann revealed the news of her husband's passing on her own socials.

Tallia posted on her Instagram saying: 'I have no words. My heart is broken. I cannot understand any of this.

'Our world has shattered and will never be the same. My amazing dad. You were my world & you will continue to be forever. I am in shock, please pray for my family.

'Please pray for my precious mum. I have never felt a pain like this in my life. My amazing, selfless, kind, caring dad. My hero. He taught me everything I know.

'My dream of music came from my dad, he was the greatest musician, the greatest artist I have ever known. I cannot find the words right now but please pray for all of us.

'Rest in peace my incredible, amazing dad Sascha Hartmann, I love you.'

Tallia's mum Tessa revealed her husband Sascha had died alongside a picture of the actor, artist and cinematographer.

She penned: 'Sometimes there are words that you never imagine, in your entire lifetime, you will have to write.

'Yesterday, my darling husband, Sascha, the devoted father of our incredible children, Valentina, Tallia, Johnnie and Zachary - passed away suddenly in Lugano, Switzerland.

'We had only moved to Lugano last December, full of excitement for this new chapter in our lives. Now, I simply cannot comprehend a world without him.

'Sascha was one of a kind. A true gentleman. My parents adored him as though he were their own son, and anyone who had the privilege of knowing him knew just how extraordinary he was. He was gifted beyond words - an exceptional artist, a beautiful composer and pianist, with a brilliant mind and the most wonderfully gentle soul. But above all else, he was the most devoted father. He adored our children and was endlessly proud of every one of them.

'This August we were meant to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Instead, I am organising his funeral.

'I keep asking God for the strength to understand why this has happened, knowing I may never find the answer. I take comfort only in believing that he is now with God, and with my dear parents.

'The past 24 hours have passed in a blur. We are utterly shattered. Broken beyond anything I could ever have imagined. I ask, if you are able, to keep our family in your prayers as we try to find the strength to face the days ahead.

'Sascha, we loved every single part of you. Your kindness. Your laughter. Your humour. Your remarkable mind. Your music. Your beautiful piano playing. We will keep playing your songs, telling your stories, and carrying your love with us for the rest of our lives.

The service will take place in Lugano on Wednesday 1st July. If you would like the details, please send me a direct message. My love I am Forever and always yours - Tess.'

What a cruel thing, that such a superb, funny, clever, supportive and talented man has been whipped away far too soon. Please know you are all in our prayers and we send lots of love, Kenny and Gabby x.'
