AMS has announced the expansion of its first India-based Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune, reinforcing the country’s growing importance in its global operations. The move comes as the company scales its India workforce to meet rising demand across EMEA, APAC, the Americas, and the UK.

India has emerged as a leading GCC hub, with over 1,700 centres currently and projections of around 2,500 by 2030. Companies are increasingly leveraging the country for specialised talent, digital capabilities, and scalable services. AMS’ expansion aligns with this trend, placing India at the core of its global delivery strategy.

The centre will focus on client services delivery, including RPO sourcing and administration, business intelligence, talent intelligence, analytics-led execution, and digital enablement, operating on a 24x5 model.

strong talent

Pune was selected after evaluating six cities, owing to its strong talent ecosystem and enterprise environment. The expansion, initiated in 2024, will further enhance AMS’ capabilities and support global clients with integrated workforce solutions.

Gordon Stuart, CEO, AMS, said, “Our expansion in Pune reflects AMS’ long-term commitment to building India-led global delivery capabilities that support clients across EMEA, APAC, the Americas, and the UK. With the increasing demand for skills-based and AI-enabled hiring, India will remain central to how we build and deliver our services across the world. Our long-term vision for India is that of a critical hub for our global growth journey.”
