The tech ecosystem has entered the era of useful AI, said Jensen Huang, President and CEO of NVIDIA during the Dell Technologies World 2026 in Las Vegas.
During the event’s keynote address, Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO, Dell Technologies, talked about how the company is facing a “productivity boom.” Stating that Generative AI has come a long way from generating content to reasoning to agentic systems, Huang said “useful AI” is responsible for this demand received by Dell Technologies.
“Between the amount of computation and the amount of product demand use going up, we’ve now arrived at the era of useful AI, which is really exciting because at the enterprise level, the potential [of AI] is incredible but the actual use is minimal. Now it’s taking off,” Huang told Dell.
Huang also talked about how the amount of computation necessary for AI has gone up considerably, from 100 times tro 1,000 times. To address this, Huang talked about working with Del Technologies to launch a broad set of advancements to the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. These are portfolio additions such as Dell Deskside Agentic AI and NVIDIA OpenSHell to help organizations adopt AI with confidence and achieve results on infrastructure they control, with data they trust.
“Agentic AI has arrived - enterprise AI adoption is going parabolic. Dell and NVIDIA are building the full-stack AI factory for this moment, with accelerated computing, networking, storage, software and services that scale from the desktop to the data center — turning AI’s potential into unprecedented productivity for enterprises everywhere,” said Huang.
“With the advent of Agentic AI, every organization now faces the same challenge to turn intelligence into impact at speed or become obsolete. At Dell Technologies, we’re helping customers turn their data into AI fuel on infrastructure they control with security, governance and cost efficiency,” said Dell.
