As Chairperson, he will help guide the Foundation’s strategic priorities contributing to the government’s vision of a Viksit Bharat. He also served as the chief operating officer at Infosys between 2014 and 2021.

“While technology is often viewed through the lens of growth, its true potential lies in expanding access and opportunity. That is what makes Nasscom Foundation’s mission particularly important. I am honored to take on this role as we celebrate 25 years of the Foundation’s journey. I look forward to working with the team and other stakeholders to build on this strong legacy and drive the next wave of technology led innovation and impact,” Rao said.

Rostow Ravanan, Former Chairperson, Nasscom Foundation, said, “It has been a profound honor to serve as Chairperson of Nasscom Foundation. As I retire from this role I do so with deep satisfaction in having helped strengthen the Foundation’s leadership and building a capable, resilient, values‑driven team for the future. The Foundation is now led by a new generation of leaders who bring fresh energy, insight, and commitment to its mission. I am confident that the Foundation will continue to transform the landscape of social impact in India by making digital literacy and future ready skill building accessible to all. I am grateful for all the goodwill and support from my colleagues on the board and look forward to continuing to support the Foundation’s mission in new ways.”

Under Rostow’s stewardship, Nasscom Foundation expanded its work across digital inclusion, skilling and employability, women entrepreneurship, social innovation and strengthening the NGO ecosystem, advancing its mission of driving inclusive growth through technology.
