






























Venezuela’s acting President Delcy Rodríguez declared a state of emergency following an address to the nation late Wednesday.
The declaration came in response to two powerful back-to-back earthquakes that struck Venezuela, causing widespread devastation across the country.
On Wednesday evening, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake was followed by a 7.5-magnitude quake just 39 seconds later.
