The hotel industry in Bengaluru and its neighbouring areas is beginning to feel the impact of disruption in the supply of commercial LPG cylinders.

With many hotels struggling to procure cooking gas, several are reporting scaled-down kitchen operations and financial losses.

Smaller and mid-sized hotels are among the worst affected. They say switching to alternative cooking methods is impractical, and many are now facing the prospect of closure.
