Indonesia is in talks ​to export 1 million ‌tons of fertiliser to ​India, the ⁠Philippines, Thailand, and Brazil its cabinet secretary said.

* The ‌1 million ton export commitment is ‌on top ‌of ⁠250,000 tons of fertiliser ⁠shipped to Australia, cabinet secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said in ​a ‌president's office statement late on Tuesday.

* Indonesia's total domestic production of urea ‌fertiliser is 7.8 million ​tons, while domestic needs are at ⁠6.3 million tons, Teddy added, citing agriculture ‌ministry data.

* Fertiliser shortages due to the Iran war are a pressing concern for developing countries and ‌gains from rising oil ​and gas prices for developing world producers ⁠are likely to be short-lived, ⁠the head of the United ‌Nations trade agency said last week.
