The stock of Marico has been in a long-term uptrend. But after marking a high of ₹813.10 on February 24, the price dropped. However, it found support at ₹725 and rebounded on the back of this in early April. This week, it broke out of a key resistance at ₹765, indicating that the stock has resumed its uptrend after a corrective decline. We expect the stock to establish a fresh leg of rally and rise to ₹850 in the near term. Therefore, traders can buy the stock now at ₹778 and accumulate if the price drops to ₹765. Keep stop-loss at ₹745. When the stock touches ₹815, revise the stop-loss to ₹785. Raise the stop-loss further to ₹815 when the price hits ₹835. Book profits at ₹850.
