Oh it's absolutely on purpose. I see this all the time from the other side. But that's part of why you haven't seen me calling it out. If I say "hey I see people reblog a bunch of my stuff and then they suddenly stop reblogging from me and also they're no longer following me... is this Tumblr staff being stupid again?"

Bad faith idiots could pretend I'm just a conspiracy theorist, especially if my follower count starts rising again as soon as people start looking.

The only way to beat this kind of tactic is to do exactly what I did

Because, unlike Tumblr staff, I've got the truth on my side. I didn't rage, I didn't fuck off and leave, I just happily kept posting and paying attention and eventually someone came forward without me even needing to ask.

When bigots think they've got the upper hand, they always get more brazen with their bigotry. Because there's no world they would ever want to live in that includes me in it. But they also don't want to be called out for their bigotry because it'll cost them money and friends and opportunities.

Tumblr staff is not only transphobic, they are racist.
