I have a very "Fuck it. I'm Gonna Do It Now" attitude about everything I do. It's the reason I'm so decisive and the reason I have very few regrets in my life.

But I have not changed my legal gender marker ANYWHERE and I don't plan to, and that's very much for the same reason that you feel you ought to.

For a start, they don't fucking deserve to know what I'm going through. The leaders of the country I live in and the leaders of the country I came from are epstein-class leaders. They're all buddies and they all follow more or less the same belief systems. And those beliefs say trans people are a fucking target. Legal paperwork that helps protect a citizen paints a fucking bullseye on an immigrant like me.

Trump is already de-legitimizing passports and driver's licenses of people who have ever changed gender markers in the US. He's denying entry to anyone who has ever made a social media post critical of him. Once someone is in the hands of his ICE thugs, they do some of anything to people, including fucking murder.

So what the fuck does anyone think would happen if I asked to change my gender marker in ANY legal sense? I'd have no passport, no entry TO THE COUNTRY WHERE MY ENTIRE FAMILY LIVES AND WHERE I WAS BORN

And in all likelihood no matter whether I tried to change my gender marker or not, right now?

Flying to the US for me would likely be a DEATH SENTENCE

All these right wing politicians sell this bullshit story that all trans people are worried about is "having our feelings hurt"

It's not innocent. It's not a little mistake. Political parties like the republican party in America and FRP in Norway are on a warpath against transgender people and we HAVE to keep ourselves safe.

For you, that may mean changing your gender marker so that people address you by your "legal" gender

For me, it means letting the government believe that this, everything I do online, everything I do in person, the person I literally am 24/7/365 IS AN ACT.
