I try to make black art and be open as a black artist and person because they keep murdering us and nobody can scream louder except us black folks in these times. I love being black but it's scary.
16 year old girl (Juliana nzita) was found lynched very recently and I'm just scared for my family and myself at times. Being black is scary especially when nobody cares about the murder of your people unless it's out of performativity.
