As I look back on this past week at the RSA Conference (RSAC) in San Francisco, I am filled with an immense sense of pride, passion and purpose. There is something uniquely powerful about gathering under one roof with the world’s leading cybersecurity minds. For Yubico, RSAC 2026 was a definitive confirmation of our impact on the cybersecurity world, and a showcase of the incredible things our team is working on together with our technology alliances to deliver new exciting solutions particularly for securing AI agents.

The most rewarding part of the week was the face-to-face conversations we had with our customers and partners – it was a poignant reminder to me of why we do what we do. We heard first-hand how our solutions are solving complex identity challenges, and the feedback we received was both humbling and inspiring. These interactions confirm that while the threat landscape is evolving – our mission to provide hardware-backed, phishing-resistant security has never been more needed globally.

A week of significant milestones

The hard problem in agentic AI security is accountability and whether businesses can prove a specific human approved a high-consequence action. Ahead of and during the conference, we unveiled several strategic advancements that address this challenge and define the next era of Yubico. Our team has worked tirelessly to bring these advancements to life, and the response from the community has been met with excitement:

  • Securing agentic AI with cryptographically verified human approval: We announced a partnership with IBM and Auth0 to secure agentic AI with hardware-backed human proof of presence authorization.
  • Closing the agentic AI accountability gap: Through our new joint integration with Delinea, we are closing the critical gap between identifying an AI agent and proving a verified human authorized its actions.
  • Accelerating passwordless adoption with Ping Identity: We extended FIDO Pre-reg General Availability to Ping Identity – enabling organizations using Ping Identity to deliver pre-registered YubiKeys to their workforce that are ready to activate immediately.
  • Streamlining YubiKey enrollment for organizations: Our new YubiKey as a Service – Enroll app (now in Limited Early Access) offers support for simple, secure and customizable enrollment of YubiKeys for Microsoft and PingID environments for IT and HR teams to streamline employee onboarding and recovery.

Looking ahead with clear focus

From our recent expansion into Singapore with a new office to strengthen Yubico’s footprint in Asia, to the groundbreaking integrations launched this week, and the hiring of Poupak Modirassari Enbom, who started today as Yubico’s Chief Marketing Officer, I’m excited for the impact we are making globally and the opportunities ahead.

Yubico remains focused on the long-term expansion of phishing-resistant hardware-backed security keys and focused on securing the future of digital identities for both human and AI. The start of 2026 has been about setting the foundation for a big year ahead, and the rest of the year will be about accelerating product launches to help our customers defend against an even more sophisticated threat landscape.
