CS2 crashes with AMDGPU reset

Hi everyone, I’m experiencing persistent crashes in Counter-Strike 2 on CachyOS and I’m trying to figure out whether this is a driver/kernel issue or something related to my hardware configuration. The Problem: CS2 crashes after some time (sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after longer sessions). The system itself does not fully freeze, but the game and Steam exits and the GPU appears to reset. From the logs I consistently get errors like: amdgpu: ring gfx_0.0.0 timeout amdgpu: GPU reset begin amdgpu: VRAM is lost due to GPU reset VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST The error is often associated with the CS2 render thread ( VKRenderThread ). What I already tried: Disabled EXPO completely Manually set RAM: currently testing 5800 MHz Set FCLK to Auto (was previously 2000) Using PBO + Curve Optimizer (currently testing with and without it) Tested other games (Hell Let Loose) no crashes so far The log also shows a page allocation failure and relatively low free memory at the time of the crash, but I’m not sure if that’s related or just a side effect. Questions: Is this a known issue with RDNA3 + CS2 (Vulkan) on recent kernels/Mesa? Could this be caused by AMDGPU/MES instability rather than RAM? Would you recommend testing specific kernel versions or Mesa builds? Is amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x12 still a valid workaround for this type of crash? At this point I’m trying to determine whether this is: RAM instability (even without EXPO) CPU undervolt / Curve Optimizer AMDGPU driver / kernel issue Any help or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
