Hi sadly I can’t start steam anymore.

It just won’t start. I don’t get any error message when I try to start it on commandline.

Is steam already running?

ps aux | grep steam

Have you restarted the system?

Actually it was running. Which was surprising as there was no ui shown.

So yes I restarted after the system update today. Afterwards I started steam but somehow I tried to start it again and the first one failed somehow.

Either way it’s working for now. Thank you very much.

It happens sometimes. If steam UI doesn’t start after launch check processes in f.ex. System Monitor and kill steam process. It should start properly after that.
