First of all, this does not happen every time the monitor goes into low power mode. But quite often, when the monitor comes up out of low power mode, my desktop (KDE/Plasma) comes back set to 640x480. (Normal is 1920x1080.) Rebooting seems to be the only way to reset it and get the desktop back to what it should be. I tried doing ‘systemctl restart plasmalogin’ and that at least restarts the service, which saves me from having to reboot. I tried unplugging the monitor, this does not work ei...
