CMOS Cleared after last two updates, Is this Normal?

The last two updates to Cachy cleared my CMOS settings forcing me to go into the BIOS to re-enable AMD Expo and my other settings. Is this normal behaviour or something to be concerned about. CPU: AMD 9800x3d Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk X870 Wifi
