Hey Everyone,

Im new to CachyOS,

I’ve had a Few issues with the WIFI connection dropping in and out , and after some reading and work arounds with the power saving, that didn’t help the issue,

I have connected my PC to Ethernet now (straight from my starlink router to the onboard Ethernet) and i have also noticed it constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. it only seems to do it if im using data (watching youtube, or playing an online game etc.)

does anyone know what could be happening ?

have you checked the StarLink app for updates (app or router firmware)? and also for current StarLink service status?

Reboot everyhting?

i have checked for updates, the sky is clear.
i can also see my device disconnect and reconnect in the starlink app.

I used the PC for about half hour this morning without it disconnecting, i have now returned to it tonight, and it has disconnected 4 times now.

The Ethernet cable is new, i’ll try a newer shorter cable to see if that helps ( the current length is about 15 meters ) .

Will keep posted when i find a solution .
