I keep a back-up for /etc/pacman.d so I restored that and good to go now!

Everything is fine now. I ran a cachy-update after 2h, and everything went smoothly.

hello, I am also having this problem.. but I dont know how to fix it, its not very clear to me. did you just restore a backup from the past with BTRFS?? or use pacnew? I havent had this problem before.

This has nothing to do with pacnews so I do not know why they keep being mentioned.

Hard to say from the replies, but I had that backup mentioned in post#5 but it seems it corrected itself for my third machine

I mentioned it as I was trouble shooting the gpg errors. :wink: This was much eariler today.
