Hello again all. I’m trying to update cachy using the system updater tray icon I always use. Unfortunately for the last few days I’ve been getting stuck at an error in the process–
:: Proceed with installation? [Y/n] y
:: Retrieving packages...
linux-cachyos-lts-headers-6.18.22-1-x86_64_v4 58.3 MiB 61.6 MiB/s 00:01 [------------------------------------------------------------------] 100%

Do you want to delete it? [Y/n]
The last time this happened I simply ranked mirrors and it worked. That is not working.
I’ve also tried using Cachy Hello to reset the keyrings, then rank mirrors again, then attempt the system update. Alas, I arrive at the same error message even after these steps which seem like it should address an invalid pgp match like this?
I’ve also tried the recommended commands on the first reply from @cscs on this thread
Which is basically removing the file manually. Even after following these steps I’m getting the same error.
Then I scrolled further and followed the “nuclear” option outlined by @HardCode4All on the same thread, and alas…. same error.
Any help would be appreciated, I am not sure what else I am missing here to remove and reset! There is some way to remove the requirement for a PGP match but that seems unwise/insecure?
Thanks in advance
Updating my own thread to be clear, I followed these specific steps from @cscs
Then when I run a sudo pacman -Syu I am still getting the error–

Have you tried changing to another mirror?
Forgive my noobiness @Alexey , but I thought that was what rating the mirrors was intended to do. Can you advise if the steps are documented to change manually to another mirror, and if you’d have a recommendation on which? When I search I’m just getting more recommendations to rate mirrors and not about manually setting another mirror.
Here is my output of rating if this helps

Edit /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist files (for cachyos also cachyos-mirrorlist and v3 v4 mirrorlist) and move your desired server at the top of the file, make sure it’s not commented out with #

Thank you again @Alexey . I replied too soon initially and deleted that, as I had only modified the mirrorlist and not the cachyos + v3 + v4 as you had recommended.
Rather than rearrange the lists, I just commented out the top server in each mirror list so it would roll down to the next. After doing this and writing the files, sudo pacman -Syu successfully updated my system.
Cheers!!
Have I read correctly from other threads that re-running the rank mirrors should now re-do and overwrite the changes I made to those files after it finishes ranking?
I understand there is risk of this happening again if I am having problem with that mirror, but I would rather try to default back to allowing all and only remove in the future if I have issues again, now that you’ve enlightened me.

This thread was very helpful. Like OP, I had the error for multiple days and I also followed the wiki and recommendations to rate-mirrors and reset keyrings. That did not resolve my issue.
Per the suggestion from Alexey, in /etc/pacman.d I commented the top server in cachyos-mirrorlist, cachyos-v3-mirrorlist, and cachyos-v4-mirrorlist. I did nothing after this, other than click on the Cachy-Update tray icon. Everything worked as expected.
I thought it would be helpful to provide the mirror-list entries. The top mirror gave me the error. After commenting the top mirror, the second mirror worked without problems.
