So i have a kreo mirage controller, it functions as both PS4 controller and Xbox controller. I want to use the xbox mode of it, but CachyOS automatically uses the PS4 mode. When I restart the PC while keeping the controller connected, it shows up as Xbox one. AFAIK, there is no way to change the mode through the controller. Is there any way to block the PS4 mode through the OS?

Well, have you checked the device’s manual?
It says modes can be toggled by holding the home button for three seconds. It also has instructions on how to pair it as either Xinput or DirectInput mode via Bluetooth.
I’d personally probably leave it in PlayStation mode and use Steam Input to make it compatible with virtually every game, as that allows you to map various functions to the touchpad in addition to regular Xinput buttons.
Ah yes, I read the manual. Unfortunately, that toggle only works in bluetooth mode, and the vibrations in bluetooth mode are very weak. That is why I prefer wired mode. Using steaminput will give me xbox controls, but the vibrations still won’t be there.
