I just received a brand new 8 TB drive, and I think I’ve ruined it. I had it sitting loosely on my case while I was copying to it (I know, I’m a moron) when it fell. The SATA power connector came unplugged and it was hanging by the data cable. It’s been screwed since then. I can see it with Gnome-disks, but the partition seems to be gone.
