Hello everyone, I have a MSI Claw Ultra 5 135H. I tried BazziteOS, but because of the issue with waking up and breaking sound, I switched to CachyOS. I’ve been using it for a few days and think the experience is fantastic! Thank you to the developers for creating such a great Linux system. I have two issues here that I hope the development team can resolve.
1: During use, I found that the performance adjustment tool (the one for adjusting TDP in Steam Deck) completely doesn’t work. I can achieve a minimum of 3W (though performance is completely unusable) -43W using simpledeckytdp, while the built-in tool can only be adjusted down to 8W, but the TDP still doesn’t take effect. Additionally, I feel VRR is also not working; even when idle in the Steam interface, the CPU frequency stays around 2.0Ghz, the CPU temperature is 60℃, and the screen is still at 120hz (even though I’ve set it to 60hz).
2: Long press the quick settings key on the right side of the claw handheld (MSI describes it this way), 100% of the time it will result in a restart.
All cases occurred under gamescope,The system I use is cachyos, the latest May update.
