Hello, I have recently installed CachyOS on my ThinkPad T15G Gen 1. I am having an issue where my gpu draws ~5W when no processes are running on it. I know it has the ability to fully turn off, as it did on windows, but for some reason on CachyOS I cannot get it to ever shut off while its not in use. This greatly annoys me because it ruins my battery life. What could I do to get my graphics card to stop drawing so much power? If that isn’t possible, is there an easy way to shut down the graphics card entirely and re-enable it whenever I decide to use it?
