Gamescope and KDE Plasma

Hello, I’ve been enjoying CachyOS but just like every time that I’ve installed KDE Plasma Wayland, I have flickering and pink flashes when enabling VRR no matter if it’s “Automatic” or “Always” in different situations so I keep having to enable and disable it based on whether I’m currently gonna be playing or not. Steam also has issues with slow Steam Overlay and I use that a lot since I play with a controller 100% of the time. Gamescope solves these issues but it has issues of its own, like breaking the Steam Overlay if used individually for games or randomly crashing if opening with “gamescope -e – steam” gamescope-session-cachyos seems to work flawlessly in my short time having tested it (I’m on a Desktop PC) but using the gamescope embedded session means losing KDE Plasma while gaming. So honestly I’m tired of troubleshooting and I wonder a few things: Can I just run a nested gamescope steam session inside KDE Plasma using start-gamescope-session from the gamescope-session-cachyos package (so that I can use the same settings as the embedded session) by just creating a menu entry with the KDE Plasma menu editor? Would it cause stability or security issues? I see files for updating firmware or handling handheld hardware in the gamescope-session-cachyos package but I really am not very knowledgeable on how to understand how it all works, would those files cause issues in my PC? (Like trying to update firmware and bricking the motherboard or something). Thanks.
