First of all: never run a GUI program with sudo , that is a very bad habit. Second: are you up-to-date? Ensure with sudo pacman -Syu (although based from what I see on your screenshot, your system looks pretty up-to-date to me) Then give us pacman -Si cachyos-kernel-manager This is mine: Repository : cachyos Name : cachyos-kernel-manager Version : 1.17.0-1 Description : Simple kernel manager Architecture : x86_64 URL : https://github.com/cachyos/kernel-manager Licenses : GPL-3.0-or-later Groups : cachyos Provides : None Depends On : qt6-base polkit chwd scx-manager Optional Deps : None Conflicts With : None Replaces : None Download Size : 408.72 KiB Installed Size : 978.09 KiB Packager : CachyOS <admin@cachyos.org> Build Date : Thu 19 Mar 2026 08:43:14 PM CET Validated By : SHA-256 Sum Signature Runs fine here both through terminal and start menu, but I know that won’t help you too much What exactly happens when you type cachyos-kernel-manager into your terminal and hit ↵ ? Does it directly show the next prompt? Or does it hang somehow?
