I use Xfce Terminal and Fish shell. Why does the text display like this? No matter what settings I choose for the terminal geometry, I have to manually adjust the window size to view the text properly (just one extra pixel for the columns is enough, for example: from 120 to 121). Thanks

Edit: I’m using `bat’ as manpager (from my config.fish: set -gx MANPAGER “sh -c ‘col -bx | bat -l man -p’”)

i dont wanna sound rude but.. if your issue is literally fixed with you resizing your window, surely this isnt a problem with the formatting, its just that your window is smaller than the outputted text so it does what every terminal does and outputs whats left into the next line
