I would like to request the packages nym-vpnd nym-vpn-app since they are the only ones which require me to use AUR and I would like to avoid it entirely.

Hello and welcome,
It might be mentioned that those packages are apparently managed/provided, at least in part, by the Nym team. And they pull directly from the nym github.
The build needs do seem modest though.

It would not be expensive in time or CPU-time to build.
Which means its both pretty easy for users to build from the AUR - unlike some browsers that might take 12+ hours even on fairly modern hardware - and similarly it would probably not be considered too ‘expensive’ to include in the repos.
May i ask for your experience with nym? Im running mullvad and happy with them.
Been keeping an eye on nym for a while.

I apologize for the long delay. I wouldn’t recommend NymVPN at the moment. Feel free to keep your eye on it, but despite their claims, I regularly run into harsh issues that shouldn’t be in a “stable” product.
