And please enclose it in 3 tics or use the formatted text </> button .. or a pastebin service. Now I wonder about gufw; which gufw But I will also just quote myself from 6 years ago.. And referencing one of the old patches I threw at it .. how does the following work; pkexec env DISPLAY=$DISPLAY XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY /usr/bin/gufw-pkexec "$(whoami)" It seems they may have changed the gufw-pkexec script slightly but not much. Just having gotten rid of some old python lines that should have never been needed. But still seemingly having a poor pkexec config by default. Do try my line over there .. I wonder if more like something inbetween what you posted and I had used 6+ years ago is the sweet spot for that particular application. Though as maybe a bit of an aside I will mention that you really should not be launching anything graphical with sudo or as root . Like nothing. No sudo gufw or sudo dolphin or anything else.
