I previously asked a question on a related topic, but when I found the answer to that I got stuck with another question. Why is there a 15 seconds sleep in the zfs hook? The system boots perfectly and much faster without sleeping, and for some reason the hook also covers a few kernel parameters that don’t appear in any documentation known to me.
