I’m seeing amdgpu random hangs similar to those described here: Making sure you're not a bot!
I wondered whether CachyOS might already plan to carry patches for this, or how to draw attention to them for consideration.

This is a task for AMD as well as the KDE team. It’s a rare enough race condition (even though it happens regularly if you’re afflicted) that it seems like they’re trying to fix this one for a year now.
I don’t see how the CachyOS team can get involved.

There seem to be patches there, which might mitigate the issue, hence my query.

I suppose that if they were to fix the issue for real, without causing trouble to other users, they would’ve been merged to the kernel by now, at least to the RC. Maybe some of them were already merged, I didn’t check.
