Hello and welcome, Spades: I suspect i don’t like what rfkill is doing, but after that my wisdom ends. Its masked on my system.* Which means its hard disabled and will not start even if something tries to call it automatically. If you want to do the same then; systemctl mask systemd-rfkill.service To be extra complete you could do the socket too (again also masked here); systemctl mask systemd-rfkill.socket * - This is a requirement of TLP , which I use. PS. For some explanation; systemd-rfkill.service is a service that restores the RF kill switch state at early boot and saves it on each change. On disk, the RF kill switch state is stored in /var/lib/systemd/rfkill/ .
