I am not sure if it is related, but the symptoms you are facing are similar to what i’ve been facing for the past week and a half. The whole system freezes, any audio playing stops but rgb backlight keeps running and the only way i can get out is holding the power button to force a shutdown. Switching to the LTS seems to have fixed it, it used to happen multiple times a day but hasn’t happened once today, Ill try experimenting with some stuff and will update if i find anything.
