Hey Cachy fam!
I seem to have hit some kind of snag trying to play Starfield after the most recent update/ DLC. 
Here is some (hopefully) relevant info, if anyone could advise or suggest how to address. No assets are loading, it would seem, and after a day or two of trouble shooting, I am not sure if the issue is to do with Creation Club/ Bethesda and Steam or my PC/ Steam configuration or some mix of both.

With the not loading resources, I looked Starfield up on ProtonDB:

Seems that the most recommended solution to similar problems is to switch to ProtonGE and use the “ gamemoderun %command% “ option.
I always recommend to go and search for gamespecific solutions on ProtonDB first since it has the collected input from lots of different Linux users and distributions.

Hi! The problem is that only the “backdrops” (for lack of a maybe better term) are loading in. Literally everything else is invisible; The city, NPCs, player, ships, planets… everywhere. I have tried waiting in game, sleeping, traveling to new worlds and then finally a new game (with all mods disabled), and it’s just like blurry fog.

Have you tried Proton-GE instead of the cachcy default?
I have not yet, though I am going to do some more tinkering now and will report back- I think an ideal solution would allow me to make use of the Proton-cachyos, and I had not had any issues when using the cachyos slr until I updated the game/ creations.
