Hi folks first time poster long time lurker. I have been using Linux for just over a year (CachyOS for 9 Months), so in effect still a bit of a noob. I have an issue with the UEFI OS boot option in bios, once I get to desktop it will freeze within 30 seconds. Using the cachyos option works perfectly, now depending on the answers, Do I need to use UFEI if I am using a dedicated Cachy system?
