A MAN IN his 60s has died following a single-vehicle collision in Co Roscommon this morning.
The fatal collision occurred at Carrigans Park, Donamon.
The male driver and sole occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been taken to the mortuary at Galway University Hospital and a postmortem examination will take place in due course.
The road is currently closed for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling in the area of Carrigans Park, Donamon, Co Roscommon between 5am and 9am this morning are asked to make this footage available.
