CONCERT SEASON IS well and truly underway, with tens of thousands of people heading to gigs across Ireland this summer.
But, as Conor Brumell reported yesterday, it’s also been a surprising season, with social media filled with people trying to resell tickets to major concerts that, in previous years, might have sold out instantly.
From Lewis Capaldi and Zach Bryan to Florence and The Machine, several high-profile shows have had tickets available close to the event, prompting questions about whether a packed concert calendar, rising ticket prices and the increasing cost of a night out are changing how people choose which gigs to attend.
