Where and when are Zach Bryan's Irish gigs?

Bryan, who played three gigs at Dublin’s Phoenix Park last June, will be back on Irish soil this weekend for his upcoming gigs in Cork and Belfast. The country music star will play two nights – June 20 and June 21 – at Cork’s Páirc Uí Chaoimh and will play another two nights – June 23 and June 24 – at Boucher Playing Fields in Belfast.

Are there any tickets left?

Limited tickets for both Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21 at Cork’s Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh are still available on ticketmaster.ie. There are also tickets available for Bryan’s gigs at Boucher Playing Fields in Belfast on Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24.

What songs will be played?

Bryan’s Irish gigs are part of his wider With Heaven On tour. The singer-songwriter recently played at Murrayfield Stadium, as part of the same tour, and the gig featured hits such as Say Why, Motorcycle Drive By, Something in the Orange, Oklahoma Smokeshow, East Side of Sorrow, Burn Burn Burn, and I Remember Everything. The encore was Revival.

What are the timings of the gig in Cork?

Official kick-off time is 7.30pm, but Páirc Uí Chaoimh will open its gates at 5pm ahead of the first support act, which will kick off at 6pm.

Who are the support acts?

There will be two support acts at both Cork gigs: Fey Fili, a country-folk singer from West Virginia, who will take to the stage at 6pm; and R&B singer Dijon, who will take to the stage at 6.30pm.

ACCESS AND TICKETS 

What time do I need to be at Páirc Uí Chaoimh?

Those attending the Páirc Uí Chaoimh gigs are asked to plan to arrive with plenty of time to clear security checks. The stadium will be open to concert-goers from 5pm both nights. 

Can I bring a printout of my ticket?

No. You must download your ticket from your Ticketmaster account and save it to your iPhone wallet or Google Pay account. Ensure your phone is well-charged to avoid any complications when entering the stadium and ensure the brightness on your phone is set at maximum as you enter the scanning area.

Screenshots and printouts of digital tickets will not be accepted, so people are advised to download their ticket directly to their phone ahead of time.

How do I get there?

Páirc Uí Chaoimh is poorly served by public transport, and the city's Park & Ride facility doesn't stay open late enough to service large events. There are buses that will bring you within a 20-minute walk to the venue, but walking will be the best bet for most people. You should give yourself at least 30 minutes for the flat stroll from the city centre or train station to the stadium.

There is no parking available near the stadium. An Garda Síochána will put strict resident-only cordons in place. Illegal parking or blocking access routes will result in swift vehicle clamping or towing operations.

City Centre Car Parks within walking distance to the stadium include: Q-Park Carroll’s Quay, City Hall, Grand Parade, and St Finbarr’s (all open 24 hours); Paul St Car Park (open until midnight); and local GAA Club fields may open temporary match-day parking spaces.

Are there different entry points to the stadium?

Yes, your ticket will tell you which route to enter the stadium at: yellow, red or blue.

The yellow route will bring you along Centre Park Road for the pitch and North Stand access, while the red route is on Monahan Road and is specifically for South Stand access.

The blue route is also located on Monahan Road and will provide access to the pitch and South Stand.

Can I leave and re-enter the venue throughout the day?

No. If you leave the venue on the show day, re-entry will not be possible.

How’s the weather looking?

Current indications suggest decent weather in Cork at the weekend, with an odd light shower at most. Temperatures at concert time will probably be between 14 and 20 degrees. 

FOOD AND DRINK

As ever, there are bars and food providers in the Páirc, with standards and prices fairly competitive. The Marina Market and the Black Market, which offer multiple food stalls, are within walking distance of the venue. As well as the city itself, Ballintemple and Blackrock village also have several bars, while the Silver Key offers a bar and restaurant about a 20-minute walk from the stadium. 

Picking up after the gig?

Ballintemple and the immediate environs of the stadium will be very busy from 10.30pm onwards, so if you do need a pick up, you’re probably better arranging to meet the person collecting you further away from the venue in an area you can walk to, such as Albert Road or the city centre, Boreenmanna Road, Blackrock village or Beaumont.
