The summer season of gigs at Musgrave Park (Virgin Media Park) is well and truly underway, after four electric performances so far this month.
Standout heroes of the current Irish folk revival, Kingfishr, kicked off the 2026 summer series on June 11 and performed a second night at the venue on June 12, showcasing their gift of writing songs with heartbreaking lyrics and toe-tapping melodies.
Kodaline brought their Farewell tour to the stadium last Friday night, playing hit tunes such as Brand New Day, Ready, and All I Want to a Cork crowd for the final time, after the Irish indie-pop band made the “bittersweet” decision to say goodbye to Kodaline after more than a decade together.
Last Saturday, CMAT, who has built a reputation as one of the most flawless live performers on the circuit, commandeered the stadium stage and had the crowd moving as one.
Tonight, Alanis Morissette will take to the stage. The Lumineers will play on Thursday night and Amble will play to a sold-out crowd on Friday night.
