Modi'in closes a street: Ten buildings to be built in a row
OFER PETERSBURG · 2026-01-11 · via JPost.com - Real Estate | The Jerusalem Post

Updated:

One Developer on One Street: Construction company Ran-Or, which has already begun building a project comprising seven buildings with 77 housing units in the Kramim neighborhood in the eastern part of the city, won another tender this week to construct three additional buildings on a nearby lot – an addition of 30 apartments for the open market. The project is intended for a diverse population, mainly families, and is part of a trend of accelerated development in the city in recent years.

The immediate significance of winning two tenders is the ability to consolidate resources: Manpower, logistics, equipment, and coordination with local authorities. Beyond that, it opens the door to architectural and managerial uniformity in the project, which is not a given in an urban space where each lot sometimes has a different developer, pace, and style. However, developers warn that such concentration could also lead to increased exposure to risks, especially during a period of rapid market changes.

The company stated that the ability to continue an existing project and create a sequence of ten buildings on the same street provides a tremendous execution advantage. “We know every inch of the site, and the experience we gained from the first 77 units will flow directly into the new project.”
