Good evening. I’m convinced this is the real reason they legalized pot, since that’s one of the laws that millions of ordinary people routinely broke. Pot users would have been up in arms over surveillance, but now you don’t really have to worry about it so they can go back to the comfortable “I’ve got nothing to hide” category.

Just the other day, Hillary called for increased limits on free speech, otherwise "we lose total control".
that does make a lot of sense. plus the workload of policing of all that weed action

People say “We’re democracies so we can have the infrastructure of dictatorships and be fine.” That was such an excellent point!

I kinda like some of the AI artwork I've neen seeing on the 'net. On Youtube yesterday, I saw an ad featuring an illustration of a '50s era housewife wearing a dress, preparing food in the kitchen. Everything looked really good, except for her legs which were backwards.

I would be inclined to say that the Constitution of the United States makes it perfectly clear that there are no infringements on the 1st amendment.

And Elon’s buddy will surely never use any of this cornucopia of information inappropriately against anyone if he wins, given his deep respect for democracy.
If people like John Kerry or Hillary Clinton (barf) ever get in the driver's seat, the American people are in very deep do- do.

I wonder what the thinking is of protests designed to prevent others from speaking. My politics began to shift in the 90s when I observed a flyer on a telephone pole in San Francisco, calling for people to come to Berkeley to protest a neo-Nazi from speaking. Now I hate the whole Nazi thing as much as the next guy, but still I thought "this is the home of the free speech movement?".
