Securing a Future for Everyone: Why Our 100 HRC Equality Rating Matters

At Rapid7, we often talk about being Global Cybersecurity Citizens. It means we don’t just build software; we take responsibility for the safety of a digital world that belongs to everyone. But to protect a multi-dimensional world, we must first champion an inclusive workplace.

Today, for the second year in row, we are proud to announce that Rapid7 has earned a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2026 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). This recognition places us among the "Equality 100 Award" recipients, recognized as Leaders in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion.

What it Means to be a Global Cybersecurity Citizen

Being a Global Cybersecurity Citizen means embracing the responsibility to secure a digital future for everyone, everywhere. We believe that four key pillars drive this mission:

  • Responsibility: Security is a global duty. Our 100/100 HRC rating reflects our commitment to making the right decisions for our people, so they can better protect the global one.

  • Inclusion: We are committed to removing barriers. From comprehensive healthcare coverage for transgender employees to family formation benefits (like adoption and fertility support), we build a foundation where everyone can thrive.

  • Awareness: Understanding the bigger picture means recognizing that both threats,and people, are different all over the world. A culture of transparency and trust allows us to leverage our differences as a way to create better outcomes for those we serve.
