22 people are dead and up to 60 are injured after a terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester. Here are how the awful events unfolded through the lens of social media.

In what is the deadliest terror attack to hit the UK since the London transport bombings in July 2005, at least 22 people – many of them young adults – were killed in a terror attack at US singer Ariana Grande’s concert at Manchester Arena.

Police are understood to have responded to reports of an explosion shortly after 10.33pm at the arena.

The venue has the capacity to hold 21,000 people.

It is understood that the attacker died in the explosion.

The blast is believed to have occurred as concertgoers were leaving the building.

As the impact of the attack continues to be felt and people seek answers and news of loved ones, this is how it is unfolding through social media.
