As we mentioned a few months ago, we are bringing the Search Central Live Deep Dive format to the EMEA region. This SCL format requires finding the absolute best home for the event—a place where all of you can truly connect, learn, and enjoy.
After much consideration, we have narrowed our primary candidate list down to six incredible cities, and we want your feedback to help us make the final call.
Along with the location, we're looking for your input on the best timing. We also want to open submissions for Community Lightning Talks early, so let us know what you'd love to share or hear about. Drop your thoughts in the interest form!
What is Search Central Live Deep Dive?
Search Central Live Deep Dive is a multi-day, in-person event series organized by the Google Search Central team that focuses intensely on Google Search and SEO. Developed directly from community feedback requesting a more comprehensive learning structure, it expands upon standard Search Central Live events into a multi-day conference.
While standard events cover high-level topics in brief sessions, the Deep Dive format allocates extended time for:
- In-Depth Technical Discussions: Highly detailed walkthroughs exploring the mechanics of Search, including crawling, indexing, ranking, and AI.
- Hands-On Workshops: Practical, interactive activities centered on essential tools like Google Search Console and Google Trends.
- Real-World Case Studies: Practical insights built around real examples, with opportunities for attendees to showcase their own optimization journeys.
- Enhanced Community Engagement: Activities like community talks, lightning talks, and poster sessions designed to connect participants and foster collaborative learning across Europe.
The SCL Deep Dive event is tailored to site owners, web developers, and SEO professionals who want to move beyond basic concepts and fully master advanced search mechanics.

The Location: Our team has mapped out a few strong options based on logistics,

- The Timing: We are looking at running the event between mid-September and early October. Help us choose the ideal days of the week and the number of days so we can maximize attendance and ensure the schedule works best for your professional calendar.

Through community talks, poster sessions, and networking exchanges, you'll have the chance to showcase your work, share unique experiences, and build lasting connections in a collaborative environment.
Want to take the stage? We are officially accepting early Lightning Talk proposals using the interest form. If you have advanced tool tips, deep-dive case studies, or optimization journeys you're eager to share, pitch them now in the interest form.
By proposing your topic now, our team can start reviewing it immediately. While we won't finalize decisions until applications officially open, this gives you a great head start and puts you on our radar ahead of the official application window. We will follow up with you about the outcome then. (And don't worry—if your plans change and you decide not to apply for the event later on, there are no strings attached).

We're still deciding on the location and fine-tuning the agenda. If you are interested in attending the event between mid-September and early October, please fill out this interest form by July 1 to help us create the best possible experience. Applications will open by July 6, 2026, when we will also announce the exact date and location of the event. Because we're targeting a diverse audience in Europe, the event will be conducted in English. And if you're interested in giving a lightning talk, you can pitch your idea in the same form!
Filling out the interest form helps us build the event framework, but it does not automatically register you for the actual conference. While you will still need to sign up again once official registration opens, we will seamlessly migrate all the information you provided in the interest form to your registration profile. By submitting your feedback now, you guarantee that you will be the first to know when we officially announce the Deep Dive dates and location. Furthermore, if you pitch a lightning talk now, we will already start reviewing your proposals!
If you're located outside of Europe and are interested in traveling to attend, feel free to fill out the form. However, be aware that this event will be primarily catered to a Europe-based audience, meaning the content, examples, and style of activities and hospitality will be focused on the European markets. Note that we are unable to provide assistance with accommodation, visa, or transportation, including associated costs and logistics.
