Donations: Our engagement in 2025

Dear customers,

It is important for us as a company to take responsibility and support social engagement. That’s why we regularly donate to selected non-profit organizations. In 2025, we donated a total of 77,500 EUR.

Since the founding of Posteo we have donated 584,950 EUR to charitable causes.

We would like to give an overview of our charitable engagement in 2025:

We have once again supported emergency humanitarian aid in various regions across the globe affected by crises, such as UNICEF’s winter assistance program. UNICEF helps children and their families with winter clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, medical relief supplies and fuel for heating to withstand the cold time of year.

Additionally, we donated again to the German Foundation for UN-Refugee Aid that ensures the survival of refugees in war zones and crisis areas with water, food supplies and medication. For many years, we have also supported the work of Doctors Without Borders, an organization that serves emergency medical aid in more than 70 countries.

We have also been supporting a UNICEF project in Malawi for a long time. Schools are being built there that run on solar power, have their own system for clean drinking water and a school garden.

We also donated again to Reporters Without Borders. This organization defends freedom of press and freedom of expression across the globe and helps journalists who are in danger. Additionally, we financially supported the conference “Junge Recherche (Young Research)” presented by Netzwerk Recherche (The Research Network) for young investigative journalists.

Furthermore, in 2025 we supported the educational and awareness-raising work of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation in the field of antisemitism and conspiracy narratives. We would like to strengthen cohesion in our society and commit ourselves to ensuring that all people can live without fear of violence and be able to engage in dialogue with each other.

We operate our business sustainably and are independent. Posteo is exclusively financed through email account fees paid for by its customers. There are no investors or advertising partners at Posteo and we consciously refrain from state subsidies. Therefore, it is you who makes our engagement possible and who makes a difference. We would like to sincerely thank you for this.
